Hi-oh,I've been thinking about doing the elf heritage quest to change races from human to elf. The purpose is to be able to tame Cu's. Any down side? Jack of all trades is kind of a moot point here.Thank you for your comments.

The 75 in elemental/all resistances is a plus. The Elves have bad hair options, IMO.
