I know it is the wicked holiday month, which means either not much gets done or if things get done it tends to move at a slow pace. I am not talking about the shard more just a general statement of the world and the month of December. I am curious as to the status of the investigation (if it is still on going or completed) and the next step which from previous statements would be the resolution of actions taken against players who were not cheating.
I think the question leans more towards what the possible outcome of the investigation will be for those of us who have been negatively effected by the actions of those who were guilty. Is there an estimated time when, if at all, Weapon Level Deeds and Magic Clothing Deeds will be re-added to the token vendor? Has the bug been effectively fixed or a plan to permanently fix the issue been put on the table?
As far as compensation..I don't have much knowledge when it comes to scripts and logs..but I am interested in how you would be able to tell the difference between [Player A who has been stocking up on Level Deeds] and [Player B who hasn't but claims they have been] in order to prevent future bumps in the road.
That's pretty much all I have as far as that goes. Hope everyone enjoys their Holidays!
Thank you for the heads up, I do recall from the previous posts concerning this matter that basically things will not begin to return to normal until after the investigation is completed. I can imagine going over all those logs is not what you had in mind for the holidays. Thank you for your dedication during all these hassles.
I did notice, a few days after my level deeds were removed that they (and magic cloth deeds) still spawn in treasure chest in dungeons. Yes the deeds are still in game, they were just rescripted to have the token exploit removed, they are still available in the Felucca Dungeon chests, and the Ancient Blacksmith Champ. They were on the token stone as a convienience. It became too easy and exploited, therefore removed.
