We have been fairly nice to all players, even the rule breakers over the years.  I try to talk with each member and get them to comply with the rules and give second chances, even to banned players.  BUT...


Now that we have hit 300+ players it has become impossible to keep track of warnings and punishment between all the staff members and myself.  Many players have been warned and still macro afk, exploit systems etc and continue anyway


We are going to go to a zero tolerance policy with the vereran players that break rules.  There will be no excuse for saying "I didn't Know" or not knowing the rules, read them NOW!
Punishment will be harsh, for example if you EVER exploit gold, you will lose all your gold on your account as a first warning, if you do it a second time, you will be banned.


Don't put the staff in the position of punishing you!  If you lose your account it is YOUR fault!


This should keep players from even thinking about exploiting!

It's about time! I am a huge fan of capital punishment. If you are ever in a situation where you aren't quite comfortable banning someone let me know. I'll gladly volunteer my time as an executioner.

a question to afk macroing: if i go hunt with one char, can i use a macro to farm gold on another account at same time or means this being afk too, bc i play active the first account?
no please only use one active character at a time, you can stay logged in with both to breed or get evo coins or even train skills, just no afk gathering or gold ty

I find this question rather sad;  I would hope the answer is that the second account is considered AFK.  I really hope Evo doesn't become a shard where everyone's alt account is being used to Gold Farm via mining and gold panning.   The game should be played not AFK'd.

     As far as I understand, if it can pull a profit it shouldn't be done afk. This includes fishing to gold panning to mining. If for example you are fishing for skill gains and trashing all the items pulled it wouldn't be so bad. It's just if it can pull a real gain that it's an issue. If you split screen your pc and automate one task while doing another thats not so bad since technically speaking you are not afk. I have been afk checked by staff before and if you are not available to see that afk check (while pulling a profit) then its hard to argue that you aren't doing anything wrong. Just my thoughts.

Wouldn't it be better if you simply played the char.  If everyone starts using their second accounts to gold farm the economy will very quickly get out of hand.  Once the level of Gold becomes to great it will inhibit new players from joining the shard.  Allowing Gold Farming is a sure way of killing a shard
there is still no gold farming or afk resource gathering, it's clearly stated in the rules

I actually agree with your entire post Thunder. I guess I took too literal the concept of what it means to be afk. There are far too many ways to make serious money without a need for a secondary account running nonstop. I'd start looking into purchasing resource keys and maybe optimizing the loot you get from monsters. If you have a master key you can use [ffp to quickly fill the keys within. If you are using regular keys you can just record a context menu fill. Single click the key and then select the appropriate gump response. Then you can play it back to fill your keys quickly. I made most of my money harvesting anything and everything I could off monsters. I used to have a store called the 999 store. Everything on the vendors was 999 gold and it sold out constantly. Made maybe 300k per day on that vendor but hey thats a hell of a good start for a newer player. Not sure if you're new or not, this is just my 5 cents.

If someone has two screens up and is watching both.. How you really going to tell which one is being played?  Who knows I might mine on one while I wait for a mob to respawn on another? 


Or I could be doing what so many are currently doing and having my second account dead and sitting at champ spawns waiting for someone to show up so I can call in everyone to kill them (that's what that second account is for right?).
