Ok so whats up with blacksmith crafting?


I've been working on creating an axe for  some time now. Have made several and zero not one special on the axe. I've gone thru about 3k electrium, blaze, and even plat (and yes I'm using a salvage bag too). With zero specials.  This has never happened before.


thats 9k ingots that I have went thru.  And I'm getting regular axes. Not even a 10% hit fireball.


I have 180 bs and 3k luck(If luck even matters).

Which runic hammer are you using?

wow ya that is kind of unheard of.  I am at work right now but when I get home I can try a couple different runics to see what my result is.  I will post my results but that will not be for about another 5 hours :(

Not sure what happened. But it seems to be working now.


Lucky for me I still have more blaze.. How odd was that.. Maybe just my luck is all lol

hehe, well crafting with runics is suppose to just be random rolls and nothing on your character should affect it (besides it being exceptional or not).


It suddenly starting to work is odd but at least it worked itself out.


Good luck on getting some great weapons.

Logged out and back in. Then double checked for plat hammer and for some odd reason it started working.


Maybe I had not double clicked the plat hammer. I don't remember how many uses I had started with. I ended with
40.  Guess I should of checked that. 


I just have an odd feeling. I wasn't actually using that hammer and in my haste to make clicked a regular hammer. 
Which knowing me. Isn't hard to do.. LOL

I kind of figured you were using a normal hammer when you said you burned 9k ingots.  That is a heck of a lot of axes especially burning charges from a plat runic.
