I have some questions about bioengineering, I have read the Wiki section and I made my first biopet about a month ago, but I would like to try to improve upon it with my next one. I've asked a few people but I've gotten some mixed information.
1. Is it correct that Bio pets abilities only come from mimic attack and counter attack (they don't get the sampled creatures natural abilities such as a CuSidhe heal). Yes the special attack and counter are determined by the mimic dna sample as stated on the wiki
2. I know which skills go with each sample but what determines the actual skill level. The reason I ask is on my first pet I know I sampled skills with values in the 120's but when I made the biopet they were all exactly 100 or 110. Its determined by the skills on the mobs skills from the sample
3. Poisoning skill is under environment , does the biopet need a poison attack or counter to be able to poison or will it poison on a normal attack if you sample a creature with poisoning. No you need to sample a creature that has poisoning, like a scorpion etc
4. When creating the biopet what determines how many ability points you get to spend and how many points can you get, I only got 3 on my first one High luck, high tinker skill and eating before you breed gives the max points to spend
Did you read the wiki info?
